The Asociación Progestión and the PorCausa Foundation have signed a collaboration agreement for participation and collaboration in the organization of the First International Conference on Migration Journalism, which will be held on October 4 and 5, 2018 in Mérida (Badajoz).Under this agreement, Progestión will participate in the Panel Conferences of the Congress through the Coordinator of the Legal Area of the entity, Virginia Pastrana, who will offer attendees a legal vision of the migratory movements as they are expressed and disseminated through Of the media.
In addition, Progestión will deliver a workshop called “Stop Fake News, Stop Rumors: Let’s Do Journalism” by our colleagues Imane Moutaouakil, Intercultural trainer and expert in Community Intervention on the frame of our European project Erasmus Plus: Migrants and Refugees as Rebuilders with Francesca Ricciardi, Expert Advocate in Asylum and Immigration as well as International Human Rights Law.
